A snap kit which allows for three variants. The pilot, the second pilot, and the production model plus decals for all versions including the ISS enterprise! I've given this to some friends as a welcome home present from their UK trip.
A fun, though highly frustrating assembly. All parts are keyed, so there's no need to force fit anything. If it doesn't fit, it's in wrong. Also, all pieces must be put together exactly in order, start to finish. No exceptions.
It took me too many take-apart-and-start-overs to build this one. After building three or four, assembly would certainly fly. But doing one simply sucks
And at nearly $15 a pop. It's nowhere near worth it. (I also spot glued here and there).
Final verdict:
Too small. You wouldn't think it's nearly a foot long at all.
Though it is an excellent engineering job with exceptional attention to detail! I won't be buying another.
