Another gift for the same friends that got the Enterprise 1k. One had mentioned that she liked the Klingon better than the Big E.
In the same 1/1000th scale series, this Kit was far simpler than Enterprise to assemble. This is the way it should be!
The warp engines have poor connections though, so I glued them in, the impulse pods as well. I will get the TOS or movie version for myself eventually as the larger kit will be sweet.
Such classic lines to this bird. 1/1000th scale (nearly a foot) is far too small for this to be appreciable.
Curse Polar Lights for not making the O.G. Bird of Prey before they got bought up and had all their model lines cancelled! Dammit!

Reviewing these pix, this kit is really poor. Bad seams, bad engineering, though it is listed as a snap kit, it falls apart at the slightest whim, bad pour and bad fit for every single part. I'm kinda feeling bad about giving it as a gift.
