I won this on eBay from the same seller as the arc-2R. and the Gerwalk. All told, for three models, $90 shipped.

Arrived today. Thinking of white/copper colors for this one. This is a stinger, single head laser. If I go with BattleTech, what is the scenario? Archer, Stinger, Phoenix Hawk LAM.

With a white priming of ARC-2R, I decided copper for the LAM, leaving me wondering about this guy. If Lao, then this one should be green. However, the archer is getting the Irish, so I don't want a lot of competition there. Yellow next springs to mind... the entire body with white piping? In which case, lay down the white first.

Primed white. As I finish up the gerwalk, I'll begin pulling this one together. This boy will be getting the most damage. Whether the other two are attacking or defending this one I haven't decided yet.

may give this one's gun to the China mockup 01. This also may lose a leg much or an arm and I'm going to pepper up the torso. First -- mask for paint! The gerwalk is going to standard black and yellow àla skull leader. Therefore, this one is going copper/bronze.

No copper/bronze immediately available -- and no further patience. So I went with generic silver for the whole body. This won't be mask off at all, so I'll have to go in with a brush and spot colors -- unless I just go with decals and black washes...

I was going to assemble kit this morning, but I was still sick of the silver. So I gave a medium black spray over it all. Another look later this afternoon and decide. I want to piece this together and call it done already!

Threw it together this afternoon. It went the fastest of the free (coincidently had the simplest instructions as well). The light black looks good as silver still shows through. I scuffed the surface up as I built it which gave it ragged look around the edges.

Unfortunately, of the three, this one has the best construction/engineering of them all. And that's heartbreaking as I really want to blow a torso off with a leg or two on this...

Decals are next, followed by spot painting and select damage. But otherwise this kit is basically done. Now, it's just down to getting it advancedly done

Noticed today that I have not taken one single picture along the way whatsoever. Too bad. It looked real good before the gouging... having a few of the preliminary steps to where it is now would have been nice.

Black washed and silver wash the body.

Got to find some guts to splay out of this thing, but otherwise, that is that.
