Inquiring the other week at my local about the kit, I got a call today as they'd got two in, on hold for me specifically.  I was there an hour later.  To my surprise, one was a tin box.  Rumor had been that the tin would not release until a month or more later.  I was going to pass, but grabbed it anyway.  $20 and $32 each.  I was also told they were massiviely back ordered.

So this tin stays boxed for now.  As I have two, I may break one open. More likely, I will simply buy another regular box so I can make a few more constitutions and a couple other class such as scout, larson, loknar and a tugboat.  I think the tugboat is next.  IN terms of Constitution class, I have built the Connie herself and the Excalibur with Republic on its way.   Next up are Lexington, Yorktown and/or Exeter.

Funnily enough, culttvman just sent me a shipped notice that my other tin box is on its way.  They charged $30 for the kit, but shipping was $9+.  Insurance against not getting one I suppose...

I was going to wait for the tin form culttvman to get here, but I'm going for it now.  I made up some full scale FranzJTM ref sheets.

The Ptolomy class tug comes in at 14" long by 4.25" high.
