Well, I started off looking for an R2 unit the other day. I think this wraps up the Star Wars kick quite adequately.
All three models for $23 shipped. Another can't-go-wrong deal. Single R2's were going for $20+ all week.
Here I get one semi-built R2, a competely unbuilt R2 and a semi-built threepio to boot.
Don't know what I'm gonna do w/ threepio. There are several options for each droid.
I think the innaccuracy of this kit may be unsalvageable. I don't know that he can be accuratized. It's the whole body shape and pose. The oven may help.
F.O. is guaranteed in the eyes if the kit is worthy.
More when it arrives.

Watching all six SW, the only other protocol droids I saw were silver. So I guess this one is going to be copper or brass.
I'll have to come up with a name. The only other one mentioned on screen was T-C14 (or however it is hyphenated).
Copper... C-PR1? C-0P1?
Brass... B-R55?
Running out of ideas fast...
I didn't get too many to begin with, either!
A designation should present itself as it goes along.

Arrived today. It's missing the back plate. That's fine. I'll try and scratch it into existence. The body is mostly together, but I will take it apart and bring ti back together. The eyes will have to be replaced with fiber optics.
I tried a silver coat to see how metal it would look. It doesn't. Brass may not look as poorly, but if I can't metalize it, then I dunno. I could make it a base metal/gray/rust etc. There is still a lot of proportion problems. It's not accurate.
